It is as though a translucent veil were suspended between worlds,
hovering in that in-between realm Walter Benjamin called the “now of recognizability”:
a fabric held up only by its own breath,
stretched between dissolution and persistence.
Nothing here tells a story -
instead the space itself pulses,
a quiet membrane that does not measure time but senses it,
that does not recall the past yet lets it seep through.
In this vibrating field, time becomes texture,
a faint trembling within the material,
a brief flare of thought
before it drifts back into the open.
